The line-up for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 Grand Final is now complete following two huge Semi-Finals in Vienna, Austria.
After weeks of rehearsals, speculation and fan predictions, twenty countries battled it out across Tuesday and Thursday night for the remaining spots in Saturday’s Grand Final. Only ten countries from each Semi-Final could qualify, meaning heartbreak for several fan favourites along the way.
The following countries successfully qualified from the First Semi-Final:
- 🇧🇪 Belgium – Essyla – Dancing on the Ice
- 🇭🇷 Croatia – Lelek – Andromeda
- 🇫🇮 Finland – Linda Lampenius & Pete Parkkonen – Liekinheitin
- 🇬🇷 Greece – Akylas – Ferto
- 🇮🇱 Israel – Noam Bettan – Michelle
- 🇱🇹 Lithuania – Lion Ceccah – Sólo quiero más
- 🇲🇩 Moldova – Satoshi – Viva, Moldova!
- 🇵🇱 Poland – Alicja – Pray
- 🇷🇸 Serbia – Lavina – Kraj mene
- 🇸🇪 Sweden – Felicia – My System
Unfortunately, the Eurovision journey came to an end for Estonia, Georgia, Montenegro, Portugal and San Marino.
One of the biggest talking points of the night came from San Marino’s entry Superstar, which featured a surprise appearance from Boy George alongside Senhit. Despite the buzz surrounding the performance, the country failed to reach the Grand Final.
Thursday’s Second Semi-Final completed the Grand Final line-up, with the following countries progressing:
- 🇧🇬 Bulgaria – Dara – Bangaranga
- 🇷🇴 Romania – Alexandra Căpitănescu – Choke Me
- 🇨🇿 Czechia – Daniel Žižka – Crossroads
- 🇨🇾 Cyprus – Antigoni – Jalla
- 🇩🇰 Denmark – Søren Torpegaard Lund – Før vi går hjem
- 🇦🇺 Australia – Delta Goodrem – Eclipse
- 🇺🇦 Ukraine – Leléka – Ridnym
- 🇦🇱 Albania – Alis – Nàn
- 🇲🇹 Malta – Aidan – Bella
- 🇳🇴 Norway – Jonas Lovv – Ya ya ya
Missing out on qualification were Azerbaijan, Luxembourg, Armenia, Switzerland and Latvia.
The 20 successful qualifiers will now join the automatically qualified countries in Saturday’s Grand Final:
- 🇦🇹 Austria (Host Country)
- 🇫🇷 France
- 🇩🇪 Germany
- 🇮🇹 Italy
- 🇪🇸 Spain
- 🇬🇧 United Kingdom
With the full line-up now confirmed, attention turns to the all-important running order, which is expected to be announced by Austrian broadcaster ORF shortly.
As expected, social media exploded following both qualification announcements, with viewers celebrating shock qualifiers while debating some major eliminations.
Greece, Sweden, Poland and Norway were among the standout fan favourites to comfortably make it through, while San Marino’s elimination despite the Boy George cameo quickly became one of the most discussed moments of the week.
Meanwhile, several fans were left stunned by the exits of Switzerland and Portugal, both of whom had built strong support within parts of the Eurovision community before the live shows.
With rehearsals now complete and all finalists confirmed, Eurovision 2026 officially enters its final stage.
Saturday’s Grand Final from Vienna promises huge staging, dramatic jury votes and one final public vote to decide who will lift the Eurovision trophy and bring the contest to their country in 2027.
